The Construction Inspection Division (CID) is responsible for performing code compliance and quality assurance inspections and witnessing tests on SCA projects.
CID is divided into three inspection units:
CID promotes the safety and welfare of New York City students, staff, and the general public by working closely with Architecture & Engineering (A&E), Construction Management (CM), and Building Code Compliance (BCC) to ensure that the SCA delivers facilities that are code compliant, of the highest quality workmanship, and accurately reflect the requirements outlined in the contract plans, specifications and all relevant codes.
